I am officially in love with Guidecraft Toys. This company takes pride in the fact that they are the “Creators of Fine Educational Toys and Furniture”.
I noticed while poking around the Guidecraft website, that they have a lot of really great toys for kiddos with Autism or Kids with Sensory Issues. My son Ethan has PDD-NOS and has had Occupational and Physical therapies since he was about the age of 3. I see a lot of the toys that his therapists use, are similar to the ones that Guidecraft sell.
I decided to get the DRIVE-TIME SIGNS SET OF 6 to review, because all my kids could use them. These signs were so easy to put together, only taking about 15 minutes tops. They require no tools at all, it’s basically just snapping the pieces together.
Here is some information about the signs:
“Enhance children’s dramatic play with their favorite highway signs! 30″ tall pole and sturdy non-tip, newly expanded base with adjustable sign height to accommodate all children. Weatherproof plastic base, pole and sign tops are perfect for outdoor play! Provides exciting, active playtime while teaching safety through sign recognition. My kids love these signs. Although I think my boys may be a little too big to use them, I know that they will still have a blast riding their bikes or scooters around them. I also don’t have to worry about the boys being too rough on them either because the signs are made with a very durable plastic that will last a long time! The signs are perfectly sized for Katie and all her little friends. She already loves them!
