Gaggle Of Chicks

Now that Christmas is over and done with, It’s time to start thinking about next year…right?

This year I plan to do my Holiday shopping well in advance! This year was a crazy mad house, and I need to become more organized and on the ball.

Gaggle of Chicks is a new shopping website that has a new daily deal everyday. I plan on using this site as a great tool for keeping my budget in check and getting some fantastic deals as well!

A week or so ago Gaggle of Chicks had offered $30 worth of products from Head Chefs, (a really cool company that make cooking utensils for kids!) For only $20! I got in on that deal and had a wonderful gift under the tree for my kiddos! Best of 2010: Head Chefs

I can’t wait to see what other deals Gaggle Of Chicks have in store for us over the next year!

Here is a bit more information about the company:

Who We Are

The Gaggle of Chicks management team is a small group of moms, dads, aunts, uncles, parents-to-be and budding entrepreneurs who got together to try to make life better for moms. We all know how much moms do for their families every day and how hard it can be to make it all run smoothly: the expense of raising kids, the overwhelming number of products and services to choose from, and the lack of time to get everything done. By offering deep discounts on quality products and services, we strive to help save moms time and money. Our Mom Advisory Board, with its all-star, expert moms, weighs in on key decisions. The Gaggle Ambassadors, fabulous mom leaders in their communities, help recommend and approve deals. We all pitch in to help give moms the extra support they need. As we all know, when Mama isn’t happy, nobody is.

What We Do

Gaggle of Chicks offers daily deals on the best products and services for moms and their families delivered right to their inboxes. We are highly selective about the deals we feature, opting for vendors who have been recommended by our network of moms, not just who give us the best deal. Our partners range from bakeries and beauty products to children’s classes and mommy boot camps. We use a new social approach to buying. If enough moms sign up for a deal and become part of the Gaggle, it “hatches” and everyone receives the discount.
Our blog, GaggleMama, features one Manhattan mother-of-two’s daily tips on parenting, products, services, and survival. We also have discussion forums, a place for members to discuss and share views on the products and services we feature and to read reviews from other moms before purchasing. We welcome input from fellow moms; we know it takes a village!

Why We’re Different

Anyone can slash the price on a product. We offer so much more than that. Take a kid’s haircut. We wouldn’t just offer it at 50% off. We would make sure it was the best place for a haircut. We would use our kids as test cases (sorry guys). We’d give inside tips on how to navigate that particular salon. And we might also have an exclusive event there, like a Gaggle beauty day with hair-care tips and lice-prevention techniques.
We listen to what moms say and what they want. We do the legwork because we know what it’s like, the good and the bad. And we take the stress out of making those eight million decisions a day so moms can focus on what matters most: their kids. Gaggle on!
