“I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Carter’s. I received a gift card to facilitate my shopping trip and to thank me for participating.”
Having little kids can be tough when it comes to clothing. I want to dress them in all the newest, cutest things but I don’t want to spend a lot of money on items that they are going to outgrow in 6 months. Because of this I tend to shop sales. I want items that are going to hold up for as long as they fit and still look great even when they are outgrown.
This time of year, Carter’s fits this perfectly. They have an amazing Friends and Family sale where not only is everything in the store on sale, but you can also save an additional 25% off everything in the store. You can print this coupon save:
I hate to admit that I forgot to print off my coupon when I went into the store. But I still saved a ton and was very happy with everything we got!
As soon as we walked into the store we were greeted with tables down the center aisle full of shirts and pants all for only $8. All slippers were 50% off, pajamas were 60 to 70% off, and all other items were anywhere from 50 to 60% off. All accessories and even shoes were on sale! First stop for us was shoes. Josephine was in need of a casual pair and I found some adorable pink sparkly, polka-dot shoes for only $6.99.
While she and I browsed through all the girls clothes, I let Wyatt go over and look through the boys clothes. Carter’s has clothing sizes from newborn up to a size 7. Wyatt is currently in a size 7 but almost outgrown them. So for this trip, while he did pick out a couple of things, most of the clothing was for Josephine.
It was so hard deciding on what to get. Carter’s had everything from Christmas themed clothing to things for both St Patrick’s Day, and Valentine’s Day. In the end we stuck with things that they could wear past Christmas.
And I am so happy with what we got and Josephine is thrilled that most of the things include sparkles.
They both ended up with new pajamas. And Josephine loves her’s so much she doesn’t want to take them off in the morning.
One of my favorite things we got was this adorable Valentine’s Day themed t-shirts. My heart belongs to Daddy. It is adorable, sparkly, and perfect for her. Those are the cute shoes we found for only $6.99.
In the end we got:
3 pairs of pajamas
2 pairs of leggings
1 button up cardigan
1 pair of shoes
1 set of 4 hair bows.
And I spent a total of $100.56. I even earned $10 off my next purchase. I call that a great shopping day and I can tell that these items are going to hold up until they are outgrown.
Thanks to Beth for the change to go and check out Carter’s and their Friends and Family event.
