Halloween Family Fun

Halloween Family Fun

Early morning wake-up calls. Packed lunches. Schedules. Homework. For moms this may mean the household is back to some semblance of normalcy, but for kids, it spells D O O M.

However, even though school is back in session it doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. With Halloween right around the corner, why not engage your children in a fun afternoon craft project?

Witch Bear is an easy way to not only bring out that (perhaps stifled) creative side of your child, but it’s also good for the environment and makes a nice gift for a grandparent, teacher or special friend.

What You Need:

~ recycled Honey Bear container
~ glue
~ decorative paper and/or stickers
~ black craft paint
~ ribbon or raffia (black & orange)

– wash, rinse, dry Bear Honey container
– paint the lid black and wrap orange ribbon around bottom
– unfold black raffia (or wide black ribbon) and glue around bottom of lid
– affix sticker or Halloween paper on front (to cover label)
– use black ribbon or raffia to make cape and glue around neck
– fill with candy

Try this on a rainy day or closer to Halloween for a fun project.
