Katie’s Littlest Pet Shop Party #MC #Sponsored #LittlestPetShop

I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Littlest Pet Shop. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating.

My six year old daughter, Katie, recently invited a couple of her girl friends over for a Littlest Pet Shop themed play date. She was super excited because she hasn’t had many of her friends over yet! We received a bunch of cool new Littlest Pet Shop Toys and a DVD of the animated show, which airs on The Discovery Family Channel (formally The Hub). I really like that the show empowers kids to “Be who they want to be”! What a great message! I remember when I was a young kid, I would sit and play with Barbie dolls for hours. My sisters and I would recreate our favorite movie’s with them. The movie’s Grease and Little Shop of Horrors were favorites back then and we were constantly making our Barbies sing and dance! Littlest Pet Shop could be my child’s Barbie!

This fall, LITTLEST PET SHOP empowers fans to “Be who they wanna be!” with a new way to play that offers the freedom to design their own PET SHOP world, their way. Fans can create their own Downtown City, with customizable style sets and figures inspired by the “Littlest Pet Shop” animated series. Fans can collect and stack the style sets vertically or horizontally to create a unique ‘city skyline,’ then decorate and style the sets with Deco Bits — unique, small accessories that plug into the environments for a little added glamour – as well as stickers and other decorative pieces.  Fans can also collect and customize 100+ new pets, straight from the entertainment!

Thankfully my friend Ann and I had the forethought to put the Littlest Pet Shop Toys together before the girls came over, because they were time consuming! There are tons of different parts to put together and a lot of little decorative touches! When the girls arrived they helped us put the finishing touches on, like stickers and other decorations. They all loved to personalize the play sets!

All three girls loved the new Littlest Pet Shop toys. They thought the animals were absolutely adorable and they all used their wonderful imaginations to come up with different scenes and plots. I love that in this day and age of technology and electronics, these girls can still have fun with just a simple toy and  their imaginations! However, the girls did become frustrated when a couple of the pieces to the building wouldn’t stay on. In the end we just took them off and then all was right with the world again!

After a while, I popped the Littlest Pet Shop DVD in. I have never seen 3 little girls so quiet in my life! After the movie was over they quickly resumed play! I personally think that Littlest Pet shop Toys are wonderful and cute and would make a lovely addition under the tree this year! I know Katie will be getting some new pets of her own!

Littlest Pet Shop toys are available at the Hasbro store, toy stores, and Amazon!

  5. So cute! My little cousin used to love these, but she’s not so little anymore. To be honest, I kinda wish they had these when I was a kid. Anything that can keep three young girls quiet is an amazing thing! 🙂
